I spent my childhood in Mattoon, Illinois, then graduated from university with a degree in mathematics before moving to the alpine region of Germany for adventure, where I still call home today. There, I took a job as a Supply Manager while pursuing an MBA focused in Data Analytics.
It was during this time that the AI boom took off. I found myself thinking about how these tools were being built for large companies who could afford six-figure contracts — not the everyday business owners I grew up around, and continued to work alongside, who were still running on outdated software that didn't talk to each other and operating procedures that hadn't changed in decades. Staring out at the ridgeline from my alpine town, I realized I wanted to be the person who brought this technology to the places that shaped me — Mattoon, Central Illinois, Middle America, and the alpine towns I'd come to call home.
That realization became Alpine Consulting. I combined my background in mathematics, supply chain operations, and data analytics to build something specific: affordable, AI-powered automation for the distribution, logistics, and procurement businesses that keep small communities running — built so the business owns its own data and tools, not a subscription to someone else's.
